Our Cabins
Located in north eastern Newfoundland approximately 35Km North West of the settlement of Indian Bay on the north side of the Indian Bay Big pond (#2 pond). Back Country Cottages are accessible by 4×4, ATV, or snowmobile via the old logging roads.
There are 5 two bedroom cabins complete with a three piece bathroom, fridge, hot & cold running water, propane stove, electric heat and wood burning stove. A 25,000 watt generator is used to supply power for all cabins.
What We Provide
- Cabin – all cabins have 2 bedrooms, 3 piece bathroom (sink, toilet & shower), woodstove (wood provided), propane range, Keurig coffee maker, dining room table, sofa and chair. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots & pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses and mugs for 4 people.
- We have canoes available for rent if desired, based on availability.
What You Need To Bring
- Clothing appropriate for weather
- All food and drink as required (the cabins are remotely located, with the nearest convenience store approximately 35Km’s from the site to the town of Indian Bay)
- Fishing license & fishing gear (as required)
- Pleasure craft operator license (as required)
- Hunting license & hunting gear (as required)
- Hiking gear
- And any other equipment required specific to your needs
